Will the CPS failing generate an error code? Mine is not and the dealer has no freakin clue what to look for since there's no code telling them what to look for.

just joined this site looking for help on the same specific topic
Crank -No- Start 1996 Jeep Cherokee country
recently bought with that condition thinking my past experience with Jeeps may resolve the issue
it has new coil new CPS new CAM new rotor newer plugs has fuel in the rail
but from the coil to the distributor there is no spark. after searching to a vast load of you tube videos my simple question to all experts here is:
Ho do I discard the computer from being the failure ? there is not 5volt reference at TPS o MAPS, and I'm being told only 96 year model computer
is compatible, no other model. is it true?
Located in Alabama if any of you are close I will appreciate your help.

it’s your camshaft sensor had to replace the sensor and all only like 73$
