Default Missing bell housing bolt?

I was under my Jeep doing my transmission mount and I noticed what appears to be another missing bolt on my bell housing. I have added a photo with a big red arrow pointing out what appears to be the problem.

If someone could confirm that I'm missing a bolt or has info on where I could source a new one it would be greatly apreciated.

A bolt goes on the other side of that hole. All it does is help hold the inspection cover to the bell. If anything it might rattle with the engine running with that bolt missing. You can get around that using a ziptie.

Oh boy. I literally just finished putting a new clutch in my 95 and had the same problem - missing the bottom bolt and a damaged bolts at the engine side.

For a manual, the part is a metric bolt with a size that is virtually impossible to find from a general hardware provider (Ace, Home Depot, Grainger, etc.) Part for the manual is: Mopar 1150 0986 but is discontinued.

On yours (I'm assuming it's an automatic) it looks like the bolt goes all the way through, so like the two bigger ones on either side, all you have to do is run to the hardware store and find a bolt that fits through the hole as closely as possible and secure it with a nut and a couple washers.
I'd confirm that it's an open hole on each side and just grab a nice stainless steel bolt with matching washers and nut.

Can I join the missing bolt club too? An 8mmx20mm 1.25 thread pitch bolt is what you need. Been too lazy to put one back in mine for the past year. Makes no difference.

Yes you can join the club. Remember that it's a highly selective club with exacting standards.

I'm actually going to pull as many as I can get at off my old TJ.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna throw a zip tie in real quick and find my self the nut & bolt I need at the junkyard next time I go. Maybe this will even fix the rattle I haven't been able to find the issue behind.
