Default 31" tires with 3" lift

I've owned a jeep cherokee for about 2 years now. I've been racking up some money to buy new tires, wheels, and a lift kit. Its a 2000 XJ Sport.
My main concern about the tires: If Im doing a 31x10.5x15, will it rub any against the wheel wells? I would think that a 31" tire would be able to
clear it but I dont know.

I have a 3" lift with 31×10.5×15 and I only had to do some minor trimming.

They're nice trucks, if its a 7.3 tell him to keep it as long as possible. They don't make em like that anymore.

Minor trimming will be needed. Bumpstops to keep your flares from popping off, Here is 3" OME on 31x10.5x15's

I too can attest that 31s work with a 3". I didn't do any trimming, the only time there is any rubbing is in parking lots when I turn sharp.

Same here. If you get different rims it helps considerably with turning

I have found that when climbing at an angle, my rear tires will rub the rear quarters. I am running a 3" lift with 31" tires. I just bought the cutting disk this week. I am going to trim my front fenders and do a cut and fold on the rear.
