Just a tip for people without stiffners, before putting the crossmember up do a little clearancing where the upper control arm mount will be because the bolt hits the body otherwise.

Hey Guys!
Dave checking in here,
Basically all of you that are receiving your x-members will be getting emails over the next couple days with the links shipping. It was WAY more expensive for us to package them all in one box so we broke them into 2 separate shipments.
Let us know what you think of the kits as you get them in and installed.
Thanks,
Dave

Do you have any updates on when we will finally see a complete kit? This is going on a month since you said we'd finally be getting our product we ordered back in November of last year! I've inquired multiple times with you through email or through your website and never get a definitive response, if I actually get any response at all.
These broken promises of the kits "shipping in a couple days" has gotten old. I think we've all been more than patient waiting and not making a big deal out of how horrible your customer service has been since ordering our kits. I just don't get it, how can you ship out all of the steering kits, yet you can't finish a few of the long arm kits that were ordered almost 1/2 year ago?
I could understand if you are making changes and upgrades to these kits as they seem to still be in the test phase, but you aren't keeping us very well informed on any progress. I think we all deserve some updates, let alone getting our complete kits sometime soon!!

That quote is from April 6th
And that quote is from April 11th. It is now May 4th and still no links.

I think I know what the problem is... I saw somewhere that Donovan said he won't let anyone weld. So he's doing it all himself. That mistake caused him to be overwhelmed with all the welding work. It's easier to weld steering links over the 3 link stuff.
He need to learn delegation and let more people weld parts for him. Maybe everything ll be faster ? Who knows. That's up to Donovan

Well said, I am very frustrated with Cavfab's lack of communication also. They have not shipped out the shirts as promised either. I am one of the lucky ones who has gotten the links and cross member. However, there are no install instructions pertaining to those who have frame stiffeners and dealing with the tie in brackets. I really hope they get this mess straightened out soon.

Wasn't able to get a tire off the ground. Close but no cigar.
Hey Guys,
Sorry I've been fairly vacant from CF lately. First off, Justin I will shoot you a PM here and an email. If there is anyone else in the thread here waiting on a kit or parts for your kit shoot me a PM here or an email with your name (Can be difficult to put CF usernames with actual names).
To shed some light on everything. Yes we have been backed up..that is extremely obvious. There isn't any excuse for us being so far behind other than we have been hammered, and that isn't an excuse. We are getting caught up and have nearly all the kits out (we have a dozen going out today). We have been shipping the links separately and the initial intentions were to have them out a day or so later since we build things in larger quantities at a time and ship multiple sets of them at once. Arms got delayed for several folks who received x-members. We received notification that tube inserts had been back ordered and this was a blow to us as we had arms waiting to be completed and sent.
Again, most importantly...if you need anything PM me here, email me, call or text (david@cavfab.com or 423-322-1858)..while we have been working mostly and trying to get things out I am here to help and I apologize for not keeping you folks up to date on things.

Well parents won't let me take it to windrock since the shop wouldn't touch it and another shop said " the tie rod ends are too steep making the adjustment sleeve get stuck" doesn't really make sense, but whatever. Also found out when I go over the speed bumps in my neighborhood the spring hits the trackbar mount I guess since the axle is pushed so far forward. So the sway bar is useless currently and the track bar bracket and spring collide. Kinda sucks.

Do the alignment yourself. I did mine in the driveway and it was within spec and extremely close to being perfect.
