I was never able to tell the difference on the track width (visually), I believe it's 3/4" @ each end if my memory serves me correct what spacers did you get?

i picked up a set of Alloy USA 1.25" spacers, really wasn't too concerned about it, but then I came up on a set for price that I couldn't say no to...so I didn't.

After my last trip to TDS, I found myself carrying alot more speed in the rough than usual. Needless to say, my rear bump stops got a work out and so did my guts. Looks like time to upgrade.

I decided to remove these: Poly Performance 4" bump stops.

And install these: FOA 2" Hydro Bump stops. These have the aluminum bump with the delrin insert so they are nice and quiet.

So after deciding on the proper location, I marked out the body and used a 2 3/8 hole saw to cut out the body. Hole was cut between the "frame"rail and the inner fender.

Note: i had to cut the top of the can mounts to remove the taper as the tapered piece was hitting the cage.

Centered up the cans and tacked them in place.

Next was to cut some brackets for the can support. I had some 3/16 cold rolled flat laying around so I marked out and nested all my piece to make it easy for the plasma cutter.

Sorry, no pics of the after cut, was too busy fitting everything to take pictures.

Checked alignment of the bump plates on the axle before finish welding in the can and support brackets.

Welder everything up and a quick shot of paint. Still need to charge the bumps, will probably stat at 150psi and the tune from there.

For those of you who may not know, the axle travels is a slight rearward arc, that is why the bump plate is forward of the bump can.

View from the rear with the jeep at ride height.

also a view from the inside showing how the can side inside the body. I still need to seal up around the holes, but that will just be some RTV around the holes. Cant wait to try them out!

Good job on the build, just read all the way through. Excellent Fab work as well! You should enjoy that one for many years.

Great work bud! I looked at hydro fronts awhile back but rears never entered the mind. Amazing execution as usual.
