Anyone know what keep the lower bearing inside the green retainer in the lower coloumn ?

 

Seems I always post the stumpers....lol...Still looking for the answer.

All ready bought the kit if you look at green adapter in my picture is smooth no plaace for ring ang clip to attach..Every coloumn I find an image is the same.

I found that diagram on a on line parts manual.

 

Still dont see what holds bearing on lower tube from factory.. Mine keeps sliding down .Right now there a zip tie keeping it up. Pretty sure factory didnt design it that way. The search continues.

 

Still these old eyes see nothing.

 

Suppose if it were spotlessly clean and still nothing you might assume it's pressed? Wonder if it could be designed to slip in a collision.

 

Slides right off and on by hand ...Strange...

All ready bought those theres no coloumn sticking down past green adapter to attach them too.

Cruiser supplied these there nothing. Unless the green adapter has clips internal.

 

Cruiser supplied the missing part . Theres a rubber sleeve with a lip on it...
