Now that the weather looks like it will stay nice, I pulled the XJ out of the garage and pulled the Juke in. The Jeep will now be the dd to keep miles off the Juke. Then I noticed how big it looks next to a stock one. Its not like I even have a big lift or tires. Cant imagine how small a stock one looks next to a 6" lift and 35s.

It is like a optical elusion that the body looks so much larger on a lifted jeep with bigger tires. I always was amazed when mine was parked next to my son's XJ and constantly had to take a double take.

That's a good place for the Juke. I think you should just leave it there! Hahaha!

Yes that is exactly it! The body looks sooooo much bigger. When I walked out this morning, I had to do a double take as well. Definitely an optical illusion.

I agree! It looks nice in the garage. Need to get a cover for it. But I will need to drive it at least once a week to keep all the fluids flowing. Maybe I should just sell it and get another Jeep or two!

That's the best idea you've had all week.

And just think, its only Wednesday. Plenty more ideas coming up like this one... If I sold the Juke and the Bug, that would fund a whole arsenal of Jeeps! You guys put bad ideas in my head.

Wouldn't you rather it be a arsenal of Jeeps?!?!?! I mean the bug is cool and all, but if I could sell it to purchase more Jeeps... it would have already happened!

It would be pretty cool to have a ton of Jeeps! Could you just imagine having 3 in the driveway and then open up the garage to 2 more? All 98+ XJs of course. Mix in a couple 2 doors and call it a day. Then I would need more friends so we could take them all wheelin at the same time!

That would be pretty bad ***! BUT.... for me, one or two would have to be Comanches (4x4 short beds, of course). I'm a sucker for a Comanche! Then gotta have the 2 door, but It'd have to be manual. I'd also want a 91 to 95 XJ. Just for "variety".

Good call on the MJ! Will add that to the list. Would have to do the newer body and interior conversion though. Cant stand the older interior. But they are super rare to find out here. And when you find one, $3k + for a beater.

On my way to the vet this morning, the Jeep started to make some noises. When I was cruising on the freeway, I could heard a hum going on and off. Just like driveshaft vibes. On the way back it was getting louder and was clunking pretty bad between shifts. Sure enough, I get home, unload the dog, come back out and I see drips on the ground. Looks like its coming from the output shaft on the t-case. It also seems like the yoke is loose since I can wiggle it around. That would explain a lot. I will pop the driveshaft off and check it out tonight. Hoping it didnt take out the seal.

Looks like my yoke nut was a bit loose. Popped the drive shaft off and tightend the nut. Went about a 1/2 turn. All tight now. And we are off to a good start on the other XJ. Just about got the small lift put on (the original one from my XJ). Braytonia got his first experience of cutting rusted bolts off haha.
