Worked on installing the same on my 87 MJ.

Found a switch that eliminates the need to grind the booster rod.

really? A grinder should make quick work of it though and I already have a 5/8" bit from my steering. Should be fairly easy

What switch did you end up using? And did you end up using a spacer between the booster and the firewall for the alleged "longer rod" of the new brake booster?

Spacer only required with 95 to 96 XJ booster.

WJ requires a firewall lip mod but you don't have to move your windshield washer rezzy forward.

Dernit.... the booster I have is out of a '96... guess I gotta get to work on a spacer. What does it need like a 1/4"?

Thanks for the info on the switch!
