I put in a new set of plugs. I also replaced the washer low sensor, mine was no longer working and gave a false indicator that stayed on and annoyed me. Also recently, new air cleaner, radiator over fill hose and high pressure power steering line.
Getting ready to start rocker panel replacement on my surprise XJ for my daughter. This was totaled a couple months ago, uninsured driver hit my daughter and insurance deemed it salvage since they didn't think it was worth fixing. Daughter loved her jeep and was pretty upset. I bought it back without her knowing and what started as just fixing the passenger fender, radiator and header panel(which was all that was wrong with it) has now turned into header panel, radiator, both new fenders, new rockers, removable doors, smittybuilt bumper w/ winch plate, led light bars on top and on bumper and removal off all rust that was on the jeep and finishing with a new paint job lol so far the most difficult part has been the rockers - more time consuming than anything, but I think she is going to be blown away when she sees her ratty old jeep looking like new when it's done
Put some replacement hose over a vacuum line near the transfer case, cleaned my IAC, and ordered a new crank sensor. Hopefully that solves my issues. Seems to have smoothed out the idle and rev already, but the CPS will fix the stalling I'm hoping.
Ripped out the whole wire loom for the Bendix abs on my 89. (Hopefully with no ill effects)
Found out the heater core is complete trash.
Proceeded to rip out some carpet
Made some new battery cables
Started pulling the dash a little, Trying to spruce up the wiring while I'm in there.

Did some cruiser tips
Time for a sandwich and some trailer park boys
Ditch the sandwich. Get some of those chicken fingers...you know, the good ones.

If you haven't already, you should make a thread and update us with her reaction when you finish it up.
Edit: Just noticed this was your first post. Definitely go make a thread in the "build" section. Will allow you to upload photos and post progress. Plus would be a cool to look back on once you're finished.
Changed my transmission filter while I was fixing my leaky transmission pan. Second time I've done this to one of these xjs. Completely forgot what a PITA is it. Ended up pulling the dip stick tube out through the buttom this time. Tomorrow morning I'll put a trans cooler on then pressure wash my engine and undercarriage. It is caked down there. Then if I have time I'll replace the transmission mount too. Just got orielly's powertorque brand, hope it's good. Got ironman Andy's motor mounts in the mail.
