I did a ton of research on them when I was looking for Comanche parts. There aren't many suppliers. In the end, I just couldn't ignore all the problems. I didn't feel comfortable taking the risk with my hard-earned money.

The most obvious red flag is that their entire website is written like a 10 year old saying his dad can beat up everyone else's dads. Secondly, their site has numerous lies and false claims on the product pages. Finally, there are dozens (if not hundreds) of people who have never received the parts they paid for.

Spent a little while clamping hooligans flares to the Jeep. Trimmed off drives side raised fender bracket section. Positioned flare. Doesn't quite fit right, tried clamping it down to make it conform. Ended up bending the actual fender. Door wouldn't open past 40 degrees. Nothing a block of wood and a pry bar couldn't fix. Hopefully heading up to a buddies house next weekend. Need to heat up new flares and give them some bend.

No good news there. If you want, send your ecu to me and i will check out the programming. If that part is good, you got trans issues. Who did you get the ecu reprogrammed though?

at first i thought i only had first but i had never gotten it fast enough for it to skip over to 3rd
im guessing that the 2-4 band is shot
i know the shift solenoids are good ( ohmed out with in range) and the acummulator spring/housing are on good shape.
fluid that came out was pretty nasty. so my best guess is the trans needs rebuilt

there might be an advantage in wide open racing, letting in more air but not in normal driving, other than feeling more power, quicker, pedal feel but no other benefit. i wonder about the purpose??

Replaced my power steering pump today with a Reman one from Lares
New pump is almost as bad as the old one (which was fried).
Zero power steering at idle, luckily I have a manual trans so bumping the engine speed is simple.
Now I get to order another one and pray that it is not as bad as the first reman'd pump...

I'm getting my reman'd a1 cardone ps pump replaced under warranty right now by rock auto.com. The reservoir cracked and is leaking badly after about a year of use.
