My thoughts as well, plus the DIY bumpers are a lot more cost effective at less than half the price of the fully built version. I enjoy welding so its a win/win in my book.

Im leaning towards the pre runner style hoop. Thoughts??

Cleared cover and prerunner style is my vote... I never really liked the style in the latter two pics.

Done and done.. Will be ordering before too long.

Looking at getting the new Warn VR8-s winch, its Warns more cost friendly line but still comes with a contactor vs a solenoid which is much preferred.

Prerunner style always looks best on XJs imo. And as for the winch, I'm buying that same one. Can't go wrong with Warn ever

Im sure its less expensive just due to overseas components, but still carries a 7 year warranty on the electronics. The contactor based system at that price point is almost unheard of. Solenoids suck.

Plus its "tactical" themed according to warn, who doesnt like being tactical as f***.

Yeah I think most of the zeon line is made in OR? Or somewhere around there. This one has a lot made at their China location. This one also doesn't have the armor like the zeon, but is that really necessary? Lol. Can't be beat at this price and then the tacticool factor takes it over the top

Quick lunch time project. Got my upper control arm bushings in. They come in pairs so i have a spare now. I paid all of 10 bucks for them.

Hit the mating surfaces with a red scotchbrite pad to clean up any little burs, hammered it home with a rubber dead blow hammer, took quite a bit of effort which is a good sign in my opinion.. Took all of 10 minutes including opening the box.

Moog part number

Final resting place.

Well at least it didn't take a long time because I'm pretty sure the alpha 3 link comes with a machined johnny joint to replace that upper bushing. I know the original 3 link did. I full expect the same from this one.

I would hope as much, running a 3 link with a rubber bushing on the upper link is no bueno as far as I've heard. Other than that the build is looking sweet.

Well ****.. This is why we need photos.

Now I have 2 spares. Anyone want to buy some "gently used" Moog UCA bushings.

If only that was a shipping date. I'm following Donavan on Instagram, so hopefully pics will show up there soon.

Shipping date should be very shortly after. They are fine tuning the transmission mount area to make sure fitment is good. First prototype was slightly off. I believe Donovan is working on it as we speak actually. Sent me a couple of very small teasers. Welds are beautiful as usual
