I replaced my original ones not long ago but didn't check the manufacturer and doubt if I still have them. Wishing now I would have checked. I do know for certain that I'm the second owner. Went with NTK because they were listed as OEM's.

GOOD idea. I usually just keep working parts I can use in an emergency. I've got to put my XJ back together today so I'm going to look for those sensors. I'm also at some time going to post a pic of the 160K mile water pump I removed yesterday compared with the new one. Looks like new. Insides of head and block are spotless. If it's possible this XJ was maintained to the point of over kill. It was her baby so..............

Burned in my HDO stiffeners, ground down the welds and primed them. Just have to tie them in to my 2x6 rockers and finish the front and rear stiffeners.

Driver side done, waiting on undercoating. I'll probably put a brace in the middle as well, just holding off until I install my long arms.

Worst part was cleaning off the undercoating. Wire wheel on the grinder and a flap disc. The stiffeners fit really well, didnt take much with the floor jack and clamps to get them tacked in.

Really wish i had a lift though, welding overhead on a creeper sucks. Make sure you have a good welding jacket and wear a welding cap.

Finished up the passenger side of the rockers and stiffeners. Got them primed and undercoating tomorrow.

Nicely done, looking good...for future reference, next time you need to remove under coating, go get one of these:

Needle scaler. Makes short work of that stuff.

That would have been extremely handy info to have a few days ago. Lol

I hope there is never a next time, but I will definitely keep that in mind. Its not that the undercoating was too hard to remove, it just makes a massive mess.

Thats the truth. Only had one incident, got a hot BB down my collar and my helmet is ready for a new lens.

LOL, truth! I've had beads hit the most ungodly places. Got a pair of nice burns still healing up on my inner thigh at the moment. Couple more inches in, and I would've had a REALLY bad day.
