Yea that's why I'm switching to the uniden. It's simple and small. I'll put the cobra in my dodge that I drive everyday since it is bigger with the bells and whistles.

The Line-X in my Comanche got too hot to touch if I parked it in the sun. Akin to black paint

A little tan bedliner, just on the armor for now, to see how I like the color.

Bought it home. Just picked up a 2000 Sport Auto 4wd with 188xxx miles. Drives like a dream. Quite an ugly duckling but it was a steal! Time to give the Comanche a rest. Slave cylinder been leaking for the last month and my civic can't haul my work stuff. Been 3 years since I owned a Cherokee. I'm like a kid in the candy store!

I have a Uniden PC78Elite in mine and I love it. The weather band is surprisingly useful.

I had a 78 Bearcat in my Comanche. I'm definitely a fan of Uniden, but I always swap in an Astatic mic

Got the tnt coil and high rise lca brackets burnt on the d30. Also put the rear wheels on and dropped the back stands back on her own rear weight for the first time since June.

Oh I'm sure it did... on the surface. Did you ever feel the other side of the metal though?

I don't know man, I kinda like it, but it kinda looks like a nude bra and panties on a tan body.

I do wish I had a weather band... especially for hurricane season around here.

Lol, ya it kinda does, but hopefully once I carry the color across the bottom it'll look better.
...
Or it'll look like giant granny panties.

Absolutely! Pretty much since dropping it off in April I've been spending my one day off working on it, mostly 8-12hr work days.

My boss gets mad because I wont answer texts immediately. I tell him, if it's that important, call. I spend a majority of the day driving and I dont like texting while driving.

I know but safer for me. I like my hands on the wheel. I have my phone programmed to the Ford's system for handsfree use. I catch crap for that too. "Don't use that feature and just answer the phone normally!" Well....why did you buy a vehicle with that feature if you dont want us to use it?..
