Put a bigger notch in my zj skid tank; on my XJ retrofit, for the rear exhaust hanger clamp to the exhaust. Its crazy how much stainless moves! My whole exhaust easily moves back 1" once at operating temperature.

That's what I'm about to do on mine. Did you do a fuseable link going to the alternator or a circuit breaker?

I used this one from autozone. I did the big 3 electrical upgrade prior to the install. The circumference of the new alternator is slightly larger. Both mounting brackets had to be removed and ground down to fit properly.
