in starting to be in the same boat. Just barely managing to get anything done on any projects haha. I just want to get my axles straightened out before college.
Just wait till you have a wife and kids. Lol! Took a half day off work cause we were slow and decided to give the ole Heep some lovin. I have a garage full of parts just no time. Been wanting to get that light bar off so I can haul my kayak on the factory rails untill I finish my roof rack.

who says I'll have a wife and kids?! Just kidding, but hopefully my jeep will be pretty far into the build before that point and it won't take too much time other than maintenance. You can always donate those parts to me, I would gladly accept them and use them on my jeep
Headlight upgrade harness definitely makes a difference. Still wanting truck-lites though. Couple poser pics from playing in the micro rock garden in front of the shop. Still had my sway bar connected.

I got the harness and trucklites, they're great! Looking good, going to look great lime green!!!
Thanks! I'm kind of antsy about lining it, but my paint is going bad quicker by the day it seems. Gotta pull the trigger soon, just have to get my sliders and flares ready to go. Still hoping for this fall.
The wires are pretty straight forward, just follow the diagram XJwonders has in his sale ad. I found it pretty easy if you remove all of the wire loom, replace all the wires then put the loom back on. Only took me an hour or so. At the starter you can either install a ring terminal for the solenoid wire, or cut the factory plug in half and re-use the old connector.
I really like that clean stockish factory modded look.
It's like a rubicon version'd XJ.....

Thanks guys! I was going for the "It should have came from the factory that way" look. Hope the neon green monstaliner won't make it look too modified. Would love to have it repainted the factory color, but I'm not spending $2k+ on a nice paint job that I'm just going to scratch all to hell.
I check out Davis every once in a while. They have made a killing flipping xj's.
