Finally got my Adams shafts installed. Amazing how much smoother and quieter the drive line is. Also got my mounts from XJwonders, pure badass! Hope to get them put in this week.
On a side note got the motor out of the sonoma. Going to tear it down tomorrow and hope to get the block bored. Or at least started.

What's up fellas?
Long time no CF, between several career obstacles and life in general I've been busy just trying to keep on Jeepin' (so to say) lol.
Ole Heep is in the driveway now getting another 8.25 put in. Been letting my daughter drive/ wheel it as her daily. She found out the hard way that once thr heep starts jumping going up an obstacle it's time to let off and rethink your line.
Something broke loose in my re-geared 8.25 and she drove it home anyway. Popped the cover to find a super chunky metallic gravy and a shredded R&P.
Gonna throw in a 3.55 standard unit for now to get her DD back going and build something that she hopefully can't kill.FML
Almost forgot, mad props to Adam's drive shafts. Held up like a champ to some obviously serious abuse.

Just read through the build and thought it looked familiar, saw the BHP AG sticker and it occurred to me that I've seen you drive around Belton occasionally. Cool to read a build thread on one of the jeeps that got me into the hobby! Sweet rig man

Awesome! and thanks for the compliments
Yup, that'd be me in the B-town area.
Makes me all giddy to know that I may have contributed to keeping the heep scene alive.
I know it's a waaaayyy late reply.
Had a nervous breakdown back in 2017 and let the ole pickle get in a bad way, hope to start getting her back in good shape soon. Would love to get together and do a lil wheeling sometime if you're down.

For sure! Dropped in a few times to lurk a little.
Between the crap in 2017 and totaling the R6 in 2018 and life in general I haven't had much time for jeepin.
Your rig has came a long way since I last spoke with you. How you been doing?

Hells yeah! That ole Jeep has came a long way, full on beast mode now! I'm just finally starting to get finances in order to be able to start back on mine.
Had a kid decide to u- turn across my lane on the bike and hit him in the side at about 30 mph. Wasn't that bad of a crash.
Now the major concussion, whiplash, and dislocated ******** were a whole nother story lol!
I would have broke my jaw and possibly my neck if it weren't for my helmet and jacket.
