A Lincoln 225 "Tombstone" will usually get the job done. I learned on one of these back in the late '60s but don't use my current one nearly as much as my mig welder. Inexpensive used ones are often available on Kijiji, Craig's List, etc.

Any AC/DC machine you can find on Craigslist. Don't limit yourself to an AC only machine.

man some of you alls welds are amazing. Mine always seem to come out ok but i noticed they rust easily. I really need to get the TANK for my MIG instead of using the FLUX CORE wire. with Innershield.

Rust easily? Or have the appearance of rust in the bead?

Any bare metal will rust easily, if there's the appearance of rust in the bead, try making sure all surfaces of the metal you are welding are cleaned down to bare, shiny metal with no rust.... because that will pick up and get mixed around in the weld puddle. That will happen regardless of whether you're running flux or gas-shielded.

Fabbed up a downpipe for my rig this weekend. I've pulled the turbo setup so I can focus more on other BWE projects.

Starting to weld up my trailer frame. I'm not that proficient at welding but good enough to put this together.

Finally got my tank properly secured. This also gives me a good place to start adding more to the cart, I'll probably make that a project for tomorrow.
