3rd was my first Reno trip with NAXJA last year.

So Jeep is running a little bit hot with the A/C on about 220-230 almost. At 140,000 miles with the stock cooling system I think it's time to upgrade the cooling components. Anyone have any recommendations on parts?

As far as the radiator goes I've been looking at the CSF 3 core or keep it simple with an OE replacement from autozone. I've looked at the champion radiators, but have heard complaints about them leaking after a couple of years.

For a tstat I'm debating on keeping it stock with the 195 or possibly getting a 180 degree one since it does get super hot in the summer.

As far as water pump I've settled on a flowkooler.

Any other recommendations? What has worked for you guys?

Skip the champion. I had 3 leak on me within 3 months of owning them.

I've had success with CSF 3 core. I also always ran a 180 degree thermostat, but I don't really think it made a difference because it would still run at 200°

Thanks for the info, but I'll take 200 over 220 any day

I don't have experience with the Champion products but if Jarod says to avoid them I would. My '98XJ with 155K miles (at the time) over heated twice coming out of Death Valley on my first trip in 2013. I pulled the cooling system when I got home. Went the with a CSF 3 row core and stock/AutoZone cooling components. In the middle of summer (100+) with AC running I'm still at the high side of center on the temp gauge but no overheating issues.
