Swapping the axles over was a piece of cake. Even for some one like me. I can't believe the difference a slight gearing change made. I can't imagine what it will be like when I get 4.56 gears like I really want.

Aye no ones mentioned anything about the hight sensing proportioning valve, what do I do with it? Leave it unhooked and just set it to the middle mabey? It aint even hooked up now, but then again the brakes dont work either...

Use an XJ prop valve and remove the rear load sensing valve and stock distribution valve under the master cylinder.

If I were you and had to do perches and everything i'd be doing an 8.8 with 4.10 and look for a HP30 with 4.10s or 8.8 with 3.55 and HP30 with 3.55

What he said. If you go discs in the rear use a ZJ prop valve

Correct. Or easier yet when you do discs, just swap the "guts" of a 94 to 98 ZJ prop valve.

As others have said just swap an XJ valve in. Though in my experience it's position does very little. Hell, mines zip tied in place and I don't notice any difference in braking over how it did when it was connected prior to the lift.

I've seen people just add all thread in there but I can't find any in my area that's threaded properly for the ends.
