South Florida Dysfunctional 4x4's
I forgot to tell you guys - last week I completely spun the XJ around turning left on to US1 from 16th street. I was in second gear and the tail came out. I tried to hold the slide but the angle was just too much and I panicked and put both feet in. I was facing on coming traffic, managed to put it in reverse and flip back around only to do a burnout in 1st and 2nd gear.
Mud terrains + locker + rain + rwd = silly incident.
THAT'S why I want a NP242.

Took the Mj out on the road to see how she does (stayed in the park). Shifts through all gears smooth, brakes work great and engine runs good. For a 3.55 geared 4cyl, it's not as sluggish as you would think. It actually has as much get up n go as my 4cyl, 5spd Ford Ranger. Now gotta legally transfer the tag when I get back next week.

It feels awesome driving it huh?
I've been driving mine the past two days by far no problems and hopes it stays that way....

You have Renix ignition? If so, if the motor didn't cut out on you, it's probably the sending unit or gauge. The Renix had a failsafe that killed spark if 0 oil pressure.
