RK no longer makes kits for XJ's.

 

Yea that would explain why I can't find their stand alone long arms. I wonder if you called them if they would sell just the arms. The kits are still on their site and still in stock everywhere.

 

From what I was told by their rep on facebook is that they are selling off what they have left and that's it. They will continue to warranty and service their XJ products but, no new manufacturing.

 

Well that sucks.. haha. Guess I'll have to pull the trigger on the rear coil conversion soon than expected.

 

Hey guys, I am going to go through this tomorrow and fix the links- might try to find another company to add. Can some you help me out and try a few links.. Let me know which are broken if you find em? Thanks!

I read through most of this thread and didn't see it posted but I just did a Rubicon Express kit on my XJ with the RE shocks and it came with Bilstein Shocks with a RE sticker on them. They look similar to the 5100 series shocks.

 

Thanks for all the helpful information. This makes a daunting task seem a little more manageable.

 

That's interesting. Are they the twin tube or monotube RE shocks?

 

Looks like monotube. But the hardened shaft is painted over, isn't that a no-no..

 

Bilstein only mfgs monotubes.

That looks like a stem top to me, not the shaft.

I have 5100's. And they do not look like those.

 

RE paints and re-badges them.
