Thanks for the lifts info. I narrowed it down to a 2.5 or 3.5 kit from Dirk at DPG and the 3.5" metalcloak kit. I probably would've gone with metalcloak, but it seems like a Wrangler company and there isn't a whole lot of info on it. I ended up ordering the 2.5" OME Ultimate kit from DPG. It's easy to go to 3.5" from there. (control arms, put the extra leave back in the rear, and swap coils). We'll see how the driveline holds up with the 2.5" lift first. 2000 AW4 w/242 and C8.25 here.

Your driveline will be fine! Might need an SYE if you go higher. I would consider replacing your low pinion Dana 30 with something stronger IF you are going to run a sizable tire. If you are going to regear, you can find them in 4.10 for way cheaper than a regear. I actually just located one foe my grandfathers TJ for 200$.

The OME stuff is supposed to be awesome! I might throw the same kit on my currently stock rig just because all the old stock stuff Is worn out and OME is supposed to ride very well.

Dang you would have been very impressed with the Metalcloak kit. Nothing wrong with the DPG kit though. I have the same driveline and at 3.5"-4" a SYE with 4* shims was a must. I would venture to say with our short driveline you will still need a SYE at 2.5"

I'll post results once I get the parts and install them. I may end up with new control arms while I'm at it. I'm not sure how bad the bushings are, but if they're in as bad shape as the sway bar link bushings, they're got to go. I can rotate my lower control arms a bit by hand, so there's probably some give that shouldn't be there.

The way things are going, the 4k I put set aside for paint and linex just might end up in the drive train.

I found Race-car dynamics (RCD) online- Had not seen their stuff before. Looks to be awesome except for the fact that they all come with AAL for some reason... 4 Link with fox/bilstein shocks.

This is a fantastic list! I wasted a lot of time searching the internet when everything I needed to know was right here.

Rustys does have good quality made in NA leafs, coils and the entry level full leaf/coil/shock/hardware kit is the way to go then all the other quality parts add them as you go along or can afford them, under $500 for the kit.
