Default Fuel Injector plug sequence??

99 sport with the 4.0

i spent the weekend getting my old cracked manifold replaced with a header i got off ebay.
Well in my excitement to put get the header on i didnt mark my fuel injector plugs. I've been searching all over and cant seem to find a single answer for the order the plugs go in.

i found a diagram for the plugs on and older jeep, but my plugs seem to be different colors the ones in the diagram.

So my question is; does anyone have a diagram for the fuel injector plugs? or can anyone tell me the order by color???????

Here ARE the older order, if you want to double check what you found.

.................................................. .................................................. .......

LITTLE BALL, LONG GREEN, TEE YOUR WHITE BALL.................................................. ..........

Light Blue, Light Green, , Tan, Yellow, White, then Black are the injector color codes.

Or im not sure how to read the picture haha

Those schematics above are not for a '99 4.0.

#1 injector is in the front (radiator end) of the intake manifold.

All injectors will have a 12 volt power source to them, using the same color code wires: Dark Green/Organge tracer stripe.

Each injector will have different color coded wire for its ground circuit. They are:

#1 White/Dark Blue
#2 Tan
#3 Yellow/White
#4 Light Blue/Brown
#5 Pink/Black
#6 Light Green/Black

OK...the challenge is ON If somebody can come up with something better than my "Golf Crap" for this, I'm ready! Bring it on!
My nearly limitless mental genius is somewhat taxed at the moment. Tomorrow is another day. I'm not worried a bit! (the 9th round is mine!)

And thanks Ken.

Tough one.

Wild Bill while Tanning Yellow and White tailed deer, saw the Blue sky but needed to stop and "pinch a loaf". ........OK, genius might take time...

Help! How do you put Brown after blue sky? (with pink/black and light green/black after).....

I'm with you on the carpenter.

Okay, so I have no use for golf.

Is that politically correct?

The Politically Correct folks are trying to convince us that you can pick up a turd by the clean end.......

Here's a diagram of the 1997-2001 fuel injector wiring. Don't know if it will pertain to the 1996.

The fuse number in the PDC changed from F20 in '97 to F21 in '98? (don't have '98 diagrams).
