My 1999 XJ Build
Did you remove the T-case to do the install / have any trouble getting the center hole straight? I was looking at the Iron Rock Offroad kit and they offer a tool that aligns the drill bit. That stuff makes me nervous. Another question, what drive shaft you running? Did you have to measure for a custom one?
And as long as you
Center punch before you drill it's not too bad. Also there's a little wiggle room for the bolt.
And my favorite part of the the whole thing is you use a stock cherokee front driveshaft for the rear! So buy one spare shaft for wheeling and it'll replace either!

Overall I'm very happy with it. Be sure to lock tite the yoke bolt tho

We done the Rubicon Express SYE hack-n-tap and it was fairly simple. We had the Jeep on a lift and done the hack-n-tap under the jeep. We used a cutoff wheel and followed the instructions. This took about 2 hours. I did also get a custom length CV rear driveshaft which seem to fit really well.
We ran into issues with the lift on the steering bolt (had to cut it out) and the two rear shock bolts broke. We cut the rear shock bolts off and made smooth and then welded bar pin eliminators on the rear.
We also ran into issues installing the new control arms. They were a very tight fit and we had to use a lot of leverage and pulleys to get them installed. It took about 3 hours to install the upper and lower control arms and adjust the track bar.
I just received my front bumper from dirtbound offroad and my rear bumper will be here on Saturday.
I will post pictures of the finished SYE soon.
