what's up jeep heads, i want to know if i can fix a vent window that wont stay open or do i have to replace the whole thing ? window is in place, not loose or anything,feels solid ,just wont stay open.... can anyone help ? thanks

 

I know that there should be a plastice ring between the hinge pieces, and I think that is what creates the friction that keeps it open. Check to see if it is still there. As far as a fix, IDK, maybe someone else does, mine work well, and I've never worked on them, sorry!!
