Cool Figured I'd share with you all..

https://www.cherokeeforum.com/members/douglas-4249/albums/my-xj/

Here is my XJ, I've owned it since February '09. I have been tight on cash, but so far I have stumbled upon some 33x12.5 Thornbirds on 15x10 rims (pretty damn cheap) and I dropped a K&N cone in it. Put a Thrush glasspack on it and other than that it's been pretty simple little quick fixes (besides the oil pan gasket ). Just kinda wondering if anyone here had any ideas for cheap mods and such I could do with it, or if anyone in the mid Michigan area wanted to let me tag along for some off-roading.. I'm new to the 4x4's, so I can't really find much to put my Jeep threw.

if your planning on using offroad look into some skid plates to protect the undercarriage and also get some recovery point if you dont already have them

A buddy of mine is selling 4.5" lift leaf springs for $100. I just am looking for something to drop in the front before I grab them up.

Any suggested brands of skid plates? Or would it not be too hard to fab some up myself? This is my first vehicle, and I am trying to learn as much about fixing it myself as I can. :P

They have quite the loud hum on the highway, in the mud they worked amazing (2WDing it where my 31x10.5 BFG A/Ts were getting stuck in 4WD), sand is coming up next weekend though, so I can update you after that. I am thinking about swapping to some Nitto Dune Grapplers though, they look mean and from what I've heard they will do good snow mud pavement and everything else.
