I have a 97 cherokee se and about a month ago the gas gauge and speedo stopped working, and the odometer isn't counting the miles. It has done this before, last summer it stopped working for about a week but then it just started working again. This time it doesn't look like its gonna start working again on its own.... I have checked the fuses and cleaned the connections on the back of the cluster, and had my cousin check it for codes with his OBD II scanner... I don't wanna spend a pile of money by taking it to a dealer if its not necessary... Can anybody help me?
