thermostat housing wont come loose!

soo, i have an aluminium head ... the top bolt is the orginial one.. but the bottom one is an allen key bolt.. i tried to put a key on it... it will NOT budge for the life of day..
any ideas on how to get it goin??

Do you have room for a propane torch? I forgot (not in front of mine). If you can do that, I've broken loose some bolts (during my lift) I SWORE were going to break by mechanical force, with the torch. I did torch, liquid wrench (one it stopped glowing of course), so on..... Buy you would have to be careful since you are in the engine bay!

hopefully the torch will do the trick, i was thinking the same thing... im a plumber.. so we use the same technique if something is frozen.. guna get my hands on it this weekend

let it reach temp, took a torch to it and backed out like a charm... And it was the problem with the overheatin thank Jesus!! Thanks for the ideas guys!!
