A bit twisted might be an understatement.

Thought about buyin a new one. The interior and engine with 166000miles are still in good shape. and just switch it over with one with a good body and frame. And also thought about cutting it up and seeing if i can tinker around with it. Hopeing to go to autobody school I figured itll be nice practice. If I can't then scrap is scrap right?

from the pic id say everything behind the rear doors needs to go atleast so cut that off and build a tube frame to replace it. id run some 2x4x3/16 tube inside the remaining unibody tube and weld it in to give a starting point to build from then you can use round tube to frame the rear in how you want it. id say go ahead and chop the top completely but your in Michigan and like here in the Chicago area it gets cold so to keep it usable year round id probably close the back up the weather here was one of the factors that kept me from chopping mine

The tubing inside leading out is my first thought to do to it. I would like to close it or at least make a removable top that i can take off and on. And no i didn't back into anything. There was an ice storm and it got out from under me. I was sideways in 2 lanes of traffic so I had enough of thought to finish turning it around so I wouldnt have a head on or a driver door hit. I ended up facing the opposite direction in the other lane so the on coming car rearended me. Which in turn spun me around again and then i quickly drove it to the side of the road before I could get hit again. But upside no one was hurt except the cars.
