Hey guys i know i post alot about taking a look at the cars i do but i just havent found the right one. I have found a 93 grand cherokee with 130k and 4x4 im not sure what engine it has. The dude told me theres no rust or leaks, thats what they all say. Hes asking 1900

I have owned my 1989 cherokee for a couple years now, and we just bought a grand cherokee.

I am still learning more about the grand cherokees myself. As far as the motors go, the 4.0L Inline 6 is a great motor. you will pull a little better fuel economy out of it than you will with the 5.2L V8 (dodge 318). However, the 5.2L V8 is also a great motor, and gives you more power, torque, and towing ability. Both motors are reliable, and will treat you well.

I am not sure if all grands came with the dana 44 axle on the rear, but I would look for one that has that.

This is about all that I know at the moment, I am still learning more about the Grand Cherokees as well.

oops. Stay away from the 93's. They are known for electrical and transmission problems

No electircal issues with my Grand. Most of the 93's came with dana 30 up front and Dana 35 in the rear. I bought mine for 450.00. So for 1900.00 it better be a pretty darn clean ride. Talk him down on the price.

Bought mine for 500 and it was very clean. 1900 is high.

Got one a year newer, very clean for $1700. 5.2L. And I think Dana 44 came on 96 and newer. I like 94-96 personally no reason in particular. Good luck please post pics when you FINALLY DECIDE.! Sheez!! Ha ha j/k !
