    Hey Fred,

Just saw a reply of yours on a post regarding roof racks. I really like the look of yours and it seems like something id like to challenge myself with. You had said that you had bought the base since your welder friend was out of town. Do you know what brand it was/ have any more detailed pictures of the base and its mounting?

    Thanks,
    Shane

    Hello Fred,

I just picked up a '97 Jeep Cherokee XJ that I want to do some light off roading with. I was reading an old thread about front receiver hitches as recovery points and wanted to ask your opinion on the Draw-Tite offering. I really have no desire for a winch, or winch style bumper on this Jeep and you seem to have good knowledge of this topic. If I'm being a PITA please let me know.

    Thanks in advance,

    Tom in NC
