The flex plate.. This was after cleaning it. Damn Vermont rust, man. Didn't feel like trying to get it any cleaner so this was the end product.

The flex plate before cleaning. Pretty well covered, but scraping, brake cleaner, a wire hand brush and a quick wipe down was all it took.

Thats better.. This is with two coats of rust inhibitor spray. I did a final couple coats with Rustoleum. It helped bring the glossiness down a bit. Preferable. :D

After all was said and done a good spray down with degreaser and a bath was in order. Covered the TPS ans IAC with baggies and lots of dielectric grease in both the harness end and the sensor end before the wash.

This was after the line tore open, I started it to confirm the leak and it shot fluid like 8 feet in the air..

Wheeler Mt hike on 7.27.13. The rock face Im on is as steep, if not steeper than it looks. It was about 70-75 degrees in pitch where I am, but get steeper as it goes. Id love to see someone attempt it in a (preferably XJ) jeep..

Remove battery, underneath is the battery temp sensor. These can go bad and cause electric gremlins. you can move battery and not sensor, it will function normally.

I think this was its first trip to the car wash. Again, like 4 or 5 years ago.
