not a bad way to spend about $2000 on a Jeep. Next comes a rear tire carrier from detoursusa.com and then rock rails.

Got a hi-lift off of craigslist as well. rather than spending $60 for the mounting brackets I went to Home Depot and spent $15 to get 4 brackets, bolts, nuts, and 8 washers to work the exact same way.

About 1/2 your rear view is eaten up but it's worth it in my opinion.

I think the vertical setup for the tire looks better than it being angled with the window, but you can get either from detours at no extra charge.

The finished product. All that's left is to buy a couple of d-rings and a matching BFG A/T.

After drilling 9 holes (4 left, 5 right) through the bumper, the lower brackets bolt over it and into lower cross member, sandwiching the bumper between them. The left bracket has the greasable swing arm pinion and the left has the arm lock waiting to be attached.

The bumper fits right over the lower cross member and ends up about 1/8" closer to the body than factory. The only way you can tell is when you look closely at the bumper caps.
