Caliper removed. Here’s the lower brake pad sliding surface, on the steering knuckle.

It looks fine to me, but I hit them both with a wire brush. Then I put some anti-seize (all I had around) on the brake pad contact points and put everything back together.

It’s leaking somewhere under here.

I see 7’ of brake line, with flares and fittings fur like $18 at the local auto store (on their website.). Then I won’t need a flaring tool.

So I hop in the Jeep and fire it up- brake pedal went straight to the floor.

Brake fluid is now pouring out of the hard line under the cab.
