Of course the rusty j-bolts were so corroded I could not remove the nuts. So I cut them off and fabbed up some replacement j-bolts using carriage bolts. I bent the heads over to 90 degrees and they work great.

Pump came out really easy after cleaning the area Got new pump re-installed and Jeep started 1st time right away -- starts very easily now
