the placement has changed, but I used some aluminum flashing to secure my headliner. I am working out dome lights for it still.

Modernized the fuel filter with a Standyne-style filter housing/primer pump. Added a prefilter to the system as well.

Here is my repair job, all buttoned up. Used allen bolts to hold the rocker caps dwon onto the camshaft 'caps' and its been good so far.

When I got this jeep it did not run. My uncle had experimented with timing belt placement, and i believe that is what led to the cam journals(3 of the 5) cracking like this. I was unware of this condition, and put roughly 100 miles on the jeep after getting it running. Finding this was a little discouraging. But I was able to drill the 'caps' out to go over 8mm bolts, and drill and tap the head for threads, and they all bolt down now. I now have 3 camshaft 'caps'.
