Potential for manual tranny swap on '04 GC
Hey guys, first time on the forum and first time considering heavy work on my GC. I've seen a couple of threads on WJ auto > manual swaps, but I suspect I'll have some more issues making it work with my stock jeep. It's the limited package with a 4.0 and 247 TC. Will I need to replace the T-case with the tranny or will it bolt back up properly? Thanks in advance.
PS: I know it's a complicated project, i'm comfortable with the risks and difficulties of modification and fabrication.

A CV style shaft or a cardan style. You can upgrade with a junkyard shaft and yoke for about 50-75 bucks
The pedals will be a large obstacle. Are you in an area that has emissions testing?
It will most likely have a constant check engine light with no input from the transmission.
Are you thinking an AX-15 or NV3550?
