Define "on the cheap".
- K&N airfilter to fit in the stock airbox? Should be less than $100. I don't think you'll any performance gain.
- Cold Air Intake? I'd guess $200-$400. I don't think you'll notice any gains. Perhaps a slightly louder engine, due to the intake.
- Performance Exhaust? $300-$1000, depending on what you do & who you go with. I don't think you'll notice any performance gains out of the engine. It'll be a bit louder.
All the stuff I mentioned above, you'll most likely notice the improvements on the dynamometer, but it will be only a couple few horsepower for each modification.
- Performance Camshaft? I have no experience with putting a performance cam in a car.
- Supercharger? Now you'll notice some gains. Especially if you complement it with the above performance parts.
- The cheapest performance gain. Weight reduction. Take the spare tire & jack out. Take the back seats out. Take the passenger front seat out. Remove all interior trim / headliner. Remove skid plates if you have them.

Air intake, headers, 2.5" true dual exhaust, bigger throttle body, Harland sharp roller rockers, kegger mod or better flowing intake manifold, performance ignition system with bigger plug wires, Autolite 3923 spark plugs. and custom tuning by Flyin Ryan.

Also it would be a good time to change the timing chain and gears, water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, and fix any leaks you find while the engine is out.
