I’ve read a few threads seeing if it’d be possible to put/install a Double Din radio into a ZJ. I’ve also noticed that not many have used the Metra 107-CH5 kit, which I noticed is for a L shaped modular single/double din. It has the opening for the DDIN so would it be difficult to use the kit along with modifications to the HVAC vents to shorten them down to allow the DDIN to fit in the dash? I’ll be attempting this here soon so I figured to come here for some advice prior to attempting this and maybe some inspiration as well


UPDATE: Got the DDIN in pretty well, the kit made it look much better on the front and retained the HVAC vents. Slight modifications to the kit and it looks great.
Metal was much harder than I anticipated, but non the less got it cut


Slight modification but looks really good, and yes I also have a Sub set up in the vehicle as well.
