I want to change the original stereo for an Android device. After searching for several days different options, not a single brand could tell me of one radio that fits on the dashboard.
1.5 din radios are difficult to find in Europe.
I want to know if a regular 2 din android radio will work with the Infinity Gold Amplifier. Or if someone knows about a 1.5 din android radio that suits the ZJ. Thanks

I've had decent luck going onto Crutchfield's website. They have a decent equipment wizard that will show you compatible head units and available harness adapters—both traditional and android/touchscreen applications.

Not as familiar with the space in a ZJ, but I think it's possible to fit a double-DIN head unit in there. Again, I'd check out Crutchfield—you don't even have to buy from them, as most of the adapters and so on can be gotten at Amazon…

 

Not sure about European acquisition, but here is one I want.


The nice thing about this one is the screen moves up and down so you have good mounting options. For instance I will move the HVAC controls up and put this in the middle and have the detachable screen in the up position. That way I can keep all the functionality of the dash including the air conditioning and heating. Back up camera available for it too

 

Thank you for your replies... I have some different options now but, so far, the one i'll go with is a Toyota aftermarket model 200mm x 90mm. No need to cut the HVAC, just trim a little bit of the dashboard. I'll upload some pictures when installed.
