Hi I’m working on a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and we sent the pcm off for a skim delete because the car had the key system on the dash and would start for a second and cut off. So now I got the pcm back and now the car start and runs like it should, but now all the lights are on on the dash ,also none of the gauges are working. Before I hooked the pcm back up I unplugged and removed the skim device under the steering wheel. Then I hooked the pcm up. I’m wondering how I fix this issue. Do I have to connect the bus wire that goes to the skim unit with the ground wire or no that’s a bad idea? Any advise on how to fix this issue without getting a new pcm and skim unit and new key.
Update. I figured out the issue mice got behind the gauge cluster and almost completely chewed through the black wire and yellow wire that goes to the gauge cluster. They also started chewing on the blue wire. There’s only like 2 tiny copper strands holding the yellow wire together and the black gone threw I think.
