Default Engine Wiring Harness

Would a engine wire harness from a 1996 jeep 4.0 be the same as a 1998 4.0 engine wire harness? I was thinking of putting this 1996 engine into a 98 but the problem is that The 98 has no engine and transmission, everything else though..

There were major changes from 96 to the 97 and up model years, I would say no.
