Having restored my 88 long bed 4X4....was better than having no MJ at all....I would have much preferred the short bed, but grateful to find what I have....Can always do or undo someone else's build to suit your taste...Go for it !!!

I purchased a 93 2-Door Sport a few weeks back and have a 2-page hitlist of items to make it mechanically sound. It's been all nickle and dime stuff with the biggest expenses thus far has been a brake and ignition switch......and 2-1/2 hours cussing the wiper linkage. No regrets and as soon as I work that list down I will start on the upgrade list.

The days of finding clean used low milage perfectly maintained defect free XJ's or MJ''s for cheap were over long ago. If they ever existed.
