I was over at Adventure on Monday speaking with Clint.

I'm gonna end up with the motor that was in your Jeep when it was turbocharged.

I'd be very interested to hear the back story and see the engine prep and swap when that occurs. Kinda makes the Overlander an organ donor? And since you're not into lengthy replies, a picture is worth a thousand words.

I pick it up next week. Haven't decided what I'm gonna do with it. I'll get more info from Clint and Mario when I'm there.

Mario parted with his Comanche over a year and a half ago. I happen to be at the right place at the right time.

I hadn't heard that.. congrats on the purchase, you got a hell of a rig there.

Hope to cross paths someday, love to take a closer look at it.

I kept seeing that rig around town but it was always on the move.

One day found it parked in an industrial area and immediately went into the front door of a place I was unaware of: Adventure Trailers.

Walked in and said " Who owns that gray Comanche out in the parking lot?"

Thank you sir. It is unlike anything I'd seen. In 2012, my wife and I traveled to Arizona to vacation and attend the Overland Expo. For those unfamiliar with Overland Expo, it's a trade show dedicated to adventure travel/living. Our goal for attending the event at Mormon Lake was to seek out a roof top tent and a refrigerator for our XJ. I never expected to find both and much more incorporated into a Comanche. Mario had just listed it for sale on the Expedition Portal site the evening before. Rarely in my life has my timing been so opportunistic.
