I have a 90 Comanche 4 cylinder manual 2WD with a ragged out tan interior I am tearing down to build a hot rod. The motor has a blown head gasket but runs and drives good. Not all of the interior panels are destroyed, are any of them worth selling? I have a mostly complete gray interior I am going to swap in, to include bucket seats. The bench is ragged but the frame looks solid, worth selling? I am pulling the motor and trans to swap in a carbureted SBC with a TH350 trans. Do the motor, trans, or associated electronics have any value? I'm open to shipping some of the smaller items if it helps out any members on the forum as I understand these trucks aren't terribly common and parts can be hard to get.

I would say try posting it on one of the facebook groups. (All Things Jeep Comanche, Jeep Comanche Lovers, Owners and Enthusiasts). Now a days it only seems like people want grey or black interior but it wouldn't hurt to put it out there. Especially if your willing to ship.

 

Every part has value to the person who needs it. I agree with above, put the parts on craigslist or facebook and see if you have any bites. You may not get a lot of money for parts, but they will sell. Remember, you have a car that is about 30 years old, so parts can be hard to come by. The 4cyl engine may not get much interest, but you never know.

two door cherokee and comanche front seats are unique from the more common four door verisons. the front seats in the two door and commanche can fold forward! great for adding sleeping space in the cargo and back seat area.

I swapped two door seats into my 1990 four door, even swapped the seat covers over. A nice upgrade!

 

You gotta check dates before you reply. I posted this thread 5 years ago. Those parts are long gone.
