Hey guys I'm new to the mj's but I've had a ton(close to ten by my quick head count) xjs and I'm blown away by how hard it is to find tail lights and when you find a set their worth their weight in gold. So i decided I'm gonna make a set. Whos done this and please i wanna see some pics for inspiration
i have a set of these in the shed might just make a box of em abd see how i like em

Well as you can see i didnt get much of a reply but here's what i ended up with. I had some scrap sheet metal and a couple trailer lights so instead of paying $100+ for used plastic covers i did this in about 2hrs
Those look pretty good.
What are you doing about a reverse light?

Not without a decent about of body work i was already planning that when i first looked at the truck (the only thing he didnt tell me about was the broken tail light) and saw it was broke because i have 2 sets of xj housings. But now i have a good drive side tail light housing for the mj i can sell and maybe stroke the 4.0 in the mance with what i get for it

Nah their not bright enough to back by, especially if your tinted like me. If I were you I'd take a 3-4" hole saw to each side of your stock bumper and add the cheapo Walmart lights flush mounted. It looks great, and is very bright.
