Found an 88 with the 4 cylinder automatic 4x4....any links to info would be thankful!! What from the xj could be transferred over to the mj...front bumper,suspension front rear? Any help would be much appreciated!!

 

any links to what? You can search using the search tool up top and also check out the stickies in each section. For parts, there are tons of items that swap over, do a search for "interchange"

 

Just about everything from the rear of the cab forward.

OP, as cruiser said, everything from the cab forward is identical to the Xj including the interior. The rear is different though. Good Luck.
