Default 1987 Comanche please help

I have a 1987 jeep camanche 4.0 5 speed i just purchased it was running before purchase they pulled the engine and put new clutch and motor mounts in it when they got it back together they couldnt get it to start that was a year ago now i have bought it and i have replaced coil ignition module and ecm i am not getting spark or injector pulse any help would be appreciated thanks

Check your CPS. BTW its "Comanche" not camanche

Cps is new its a mopar sensor also

Check all your grounds...you might have 1 not connected...
Do you know if they changed the flywheel when they did the clutch?

Not sure if they did or not on that but can find out i checked all grounds for the harness and cleaned all the surfaces where they bolted on amd still nothing

I will try that when i get home do u know how many power wires go to the ecm that need to have 12 volts cause i am thinking i have a wiring isue with it

Guarantee you they left it on the trans during install and crushed it.

it sounds like in may be the crank posusson senser it is located on the top of your trans, and it runs to your distrubitor if its bad u will not get spark from your coil to your sp wires i hope this helps----njs

Uh, he tested it and it's no good.

And, the CPS sends nothing to the distributor. It sends a signal to the ECU.

I know you're new, but we don't take kindly to half assed info or suggestions around these parts.

well sorry i tryed to explain it the best i could this thing is getting the best of me i am going to try a new crank sensor today
