Purchased a 2015 Latitude/Active Drive II in July of 2015. Now has 19,000 miles. We had an increasing "scraping" noise in left front, speed related, not brake related. On our first trip to dealer, tech claimed he could not hear anything, but did "apply special grease to strut shafts". This had nothing to do with the noise but I'm sure netted a few warranty dollars.
On second trip this week (noise became more noticeable), a different tech rode with me and immediately noticed the noise. Both of us had pegged it as a CV joint or wheel bearing. Result was a close to failing left front wheel bearing.
The tech and service rep claimed they had not come across this previously, and I tend to believe them. This is not a very exciting story, but just a heads-up if you have odd noises.
