Just had a u90 recall completed and next day my check engine light came on. I'm assuming its related. I did some googling and found on a chrysler forum some folks suggesting it might be an O2 sensor was not plugged in correctly. Can anyone point me to where that would be so I can check it myself? I have had alot of bad luck with my local dealerships and would very much like to save myself 5 hours of sitting around.

have you scanned the ecu for the code(s)?

that should be your first step, get the codes and see if they pertain to the cat or o2 sensor it could be something else. if it's in regards to the O2 sensor try to check it out yourself first and if it looks like something they did would have caused it take it back to the dealer and have them fix it.

but you need to make sure this way the dealer doesn't charge you for their mistake.

I just did the U90 and U84 (i think) recalls last week and mine is running fine. I even think it has a little more pep to it when I give it gas.

 

Hi, thank you for the reply. I checked code and it showed P0520. Which from what I can find is related to oil pressure. I checked it and its now low, looks good. I am due for a change though.

 

I had my oil changed. No change in check engine light... time to bring it innn. Again.
